In July, 2021 Try Swedish successfully carried out a one-month, offline and online campaign of Nordic Kitchen Fair at Hyundai Department Store in Seoul, South Korea together with our Nordic partner organizations Business Finland and the Embassy of Denmark in Korea. Since there are still travel restrictions the theme was “I wish I was in the Nordics…”
There was a high interest from the Korean consumers with high engagement in social media, throughout the online campaigns, the in-store market places in the Hyundai department stores, as well as the VIP cooking class with chef Minhyuk Park. The high exposure and attention to Nordic brands, did not only provide a good marketing platform but also considerable sales figures for the participating Swedish food and beverage companies.

Through this campaign, several Nordic Food & Beverage and lifestyle brands were presented at the core site of Hyundai’s four major branches in Korea; Mokdong, The Hyundai Seoul, Pangyo and Kintex.
Some of the participating Swedish brands were: Kiviks Musteri AB, The Smiling Group, This Is Nuts Sweden AB, OLW Sverige AB, Hugo & Celine – for Dogs, Finn crisp, AXA, Kalles Kaviar, Barebells, Camelina of Sweden Sproud, Oatly and many more!
