The Oppigårds farm has been in our family’s possession since year 1735. The idea of brewing beer began to sprout in the 1980’s. We built the brewery on the farm, in a pasture. Now we have been running for 15 years!  The first year we brewed 8,000 liters of beer and sold it locally. Now we’re up to over two million liters, filled in bottles, cans and kegs and sold all over Sweden and some in Europe. In the 1980’s pale lager with very little hops was about the only kind of beer to be found in Sweden. There were fewer than ten breweries, today there are over 300. Swedish beer culture is thriving. Please take part in our contribution to Swedish beer culture!
