Chefs and Producers
Jens Dolk – overall concept leader for TrySwedish in London. Jens Dolk has a BA in culinary arts. Jens is a well-known Swedish wine writer and has published seven books on food and wine. Jens regularly writes for Sweden’s main newspapers and magazines and often appears on Swedish television to offer his knowledge to viewers on Swedish drinks.
Håkan Hansson – vineyard owner and drinks ambassador from picturesque Anderslöv in Skåne in Southern Sweden. Hällåkra vineyard is owned by Lotta & Håkan Hansson, a fifth generation, family owned company.
Thomas Sjögren – Chef from West Sweden. Thomas Sjögren’s is a member of the Swedish Junior Culinary Team and competed in the Food Olympics in 2012. Thomas has worked at several of Gothenburgs top restaurants and is currently employed at Swedish Taste at the Opera house in Gothenburg.
Lars Marstone and Adriaan van de Plasse – from Orust Shellfish in West Sweden – Lars & Adriaan will open oysters at the beginning of each master class and talk about their mussel and oyster farming in Lysekil and what makes the conditions of the West Swedish waters excellent for seafood. Jonas Dahlbom – Chef from Jämtland Härjedalen. Jonas won Sweden’s most prestigious cooking competiton ‘Chef of the year’ in 1996 and since then been involved in professional cooking championships. In 2005 he came fourth place in the World Championships for professional cooking, Bocuse d’Or in Lyon. Jonas co-owns the restaurant ‘Dahlbom på Torget’ in Åre with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant serves local and traditional dishes from Jämtland as well as modern Swedish food with inspiration from all over the world.
Jonas Bolling -– chef from Skåne. Jonas Bolling has a BA in culinary arts from Umeå in Northern Sweden. He us currently head chef at Sigtuna hotel 1909 and regularly competes in professional cooking competitions in Sweden.
